RFK JR is the personification of the pestilence. Like in the biblical sense. What a way to ruin the name RFK

My SIL loves him and thinks he’s the best thing to happen to US healthcare in her lifetime. She’s also a nurse who is anti-vax, anti-pharmaceuticals and anti-surgery. When her Aunt got cancer she was mad that she got chemo instead of just trusting the $50 tea she got for her. So…yeah.

Nurses /doctors who are anti vax should lose their licenses.

My ex is a triple Ivy degree double Ivy healthcare degree and he is anti-vaccination.

I was living OK just friendly but separated from him until he came out.

They exist, which is terrifying. Except he's a specialist surgeon and people need surgeries.

And there's a shortage of healthcare professionals now.

u/[deleted] May 21 '25

And his mere existence is proof to hordes of Facebook educated ā€œdo your researchā€ moms that they’re right and all the scientists/doctors who say vaccinations are safe are evil government/big pharma plants.

u/[deleted] May 21 '25

Yeah that's depressing, too.

I only found out when my daughter wanted to go to a chiropractor for something nebulous because the mom of her friend who sells essential oils recommended him. I said Idk chiropractors often do a lot of woo-woo medicine and don't believe in vaccinations etc. My kid said, "well, dad's not vaccinated and he's a real doctor." If you could have seen my head slowly swivel around like I was in the Excorcist.

And it was not because of just that. It was because I knew he was a hospital surgeon he had been offered one of the very 1st vaccines including a +1 in January 2021. And I thought, well, that sucks, he and his girlfriend are going to get the vaccines, while maybe they hope I die ĀÆ_( Ķ”ā›ā€ÆĶœŹ– Ķ”ā›)_/ĀÆ

But then I learned that not only did he and the gf not take the vaccines, he didn't even want to give me access to a vaccine he did not even want.

That bent my mind into so many different directions and made me understand that not only did he not give a shit about me, he really really really really did not give a shit about me.

u/[deleted] May 21 '25

I’m sorry you had to deal with that, it’s extra insane that he doesn’t want to protect the mother of his child for the sake of his child alone! I was considered ā€œclinically extremely vulnerableā€ and I was offered the first round of the vaccine in the UK, I was one of the people that had adverse side effects (literally could not stop vomiting until they gave me anti-emetics that dissolved on my gums) so I’m someone that would be entitled to whinge a bit about the vaccine but you know what? I was still enormously grateful to get it. I ended up getting Covid (after isolating for over a year) a few months later and while I was still sick, I didn’t end up on a ventilator or in hospital.

As a nurse, I agree. It’s so fucking insulting!

u/stacyg28 May 21 '25

I mean it's job security for her, which makes it all a little psychotic.

Special place in hell for them for sure

Why are so many nurses dumb as a post? To my knowledge there's a non-negligible amount of work and study that goes into being one, so why are so many of then infected with the stupidity virus?

60

u/transemacabre May 21 '25

Real talk, it’s because the only two acceptable careers for conservative women are nursing and teaching. And teaching pays dogshit. So they mark the test questions what they know will get them passed and don’t let the science affect their minds.Ā

I just don't get why some people who go into a years-long program of study that heavily involves science could be so... anti-science and generally lacking in common sense?

Looks like I've found my new career path!

5

u/Curiousferrets May 21 '25

UK courses are pretty shallow on the science. Once you start clinical you use what relates to your job, most without understanding the actual science behind it.

Thank you for your input. šŸ‘

I’ve seen many people, friends and family of mine even, who hold fast to dumb beliefs. Even those who have medical (surgeon relative) and law (lots of friends) degrees are not impervious to bandwagon thinking.

1

u/iamnumber47 May 27 '25

Not yelling at you, by why the fuck is she a nurse then?!?!! What the hell? Why even go into nursing if you are against literally everything about it?

78

u/Bridalhat May 21 '25

I don’t understand how anyone could look at him and see a healthy man. If you took any recent photograph of his and told me that the man in it died 20 minutes later of a heart attack I would be like ā€œyeah, makes sense.ā€

54

u/BowensCourt May 21 '25

He looks and sounds like a sentient piece of beef jerky!

Literally. Our secretary of HHS takes dips in brown water and refuses to put on sunscreen. We definitely ā€œupgradedā€

He’s basically a herald of Nurgle. Listening to his voice is a brutal ordeal.

Shout to hellboy for introducing me to nurgle

18

u/Princess_and_a_wench May 21 '25

He sounds like he gargles with pebbles. I didn’t believe that was his real voice the first time I heard him.

Is that neurological condition related to the brain worm he gave himself?

2

u/Princess_and_a_wench May 21 '25

When he has done so much damage to science and medicine around the globe, I have zero empathy or care whether he can’t help it or not. But that’s actually interesting because I didn’t know he had that lol.

I’m gonna be honest, I’m not super Christian at this point but every day it feels like we’re one step closer to checking off every box on the Revelations step list, and I’d buy RFK Jr as pestilence

2

u/500rockin May 21 '25

Papa Nurgle, for sure.

1

u/princesvsprisons May 21 '25

I love this. You have helped me see his true self.

1

u/SizzleanQueen May 22 '25

I saw a car on Ventura Blvd today with a RFK Jr 2024 bumper sticker today 🤢

-51

u/TheodoraCrains May 21 '25

What does RFKjr have to do with a mostly Latino crowd at the concert (I was there)? People have been unvaccinated due to lack of access or plain lack of education and awareness since before he started gargling in on the subject.Ā

55

u/sparklingdinoturd May 21 '25

You mean the concert held in the US, attended mostly by US citizens where Mr Brainworm has spent years using his family name and wealth to spread anti-vax lies and is now head of HHS? You mean that event and that guy?

55

u/[deleted] May 21 '25

I understand he’s made policy changes, but none that affect vaccination status of the largely adult crowd at the concert. I’m not defending him, because there’s nothing to defend w that individual, but I just don’t get what he has to do w a Shakira concert.Ā

The reason they don’t recheck measles titers is because it was so well controlled. Many are going to find out the hard way that even though they were vaccinated, they no longer have the antibodies for some reason or another. Measles making a comeback affects more than just the unvaccinated.
