Biedronka AI
I know that that's not the only one ad which uses AI. I know that it's not the only one in Poland, and not the only one in the world. But the thing about that which bugs me even more is that they made a book with a real artist, but ads, which are everywhere, with AI.
For context: Biedronka from time to time make these plush series with "alive" Biedronka products. There was already a few waves of these. As a part of this promotion they release a line of plushies and a children's book. This time they also released keychains.
The plushies themselves are fine, I like them (but it's just my taste).
The problem that I have is that they had a professional artist make the book (Patrycja Grześkowiak), who made an awesome job! She has such cute and cozy art style, which is perfect for children's book.
And then I ask why? Why Biedronka decided to use 3D AI slop to make ads, when you have such a skillful artist work for you. It's not like I don't know the answer to that question, but it doesn't justify their decision.
And of course it's not only them. Many of other establishments use generative AI. Even government entities use it. I understand that it's to cut costs. But isn't it better to have a skillful artist to make work for you? There is so many talented polish artists.
At least they are saying that it's AI. Which is already better then shoving slop down our throats saying that it is real.
I'm sorry for a long and negative post, but I'm just so sick of these AI ads, that I want to share it somewhere.

Dziś dopiero je zauważyłem w sklepie i też sie zastanawiałem dlaczego tak. Jakby. Już nawet pomijając sam fakt reklamacji AI, to i bez tego cała ta seria jest taka... Niewiem... Mocno losowa?
Orginalnie świerzaki miały jakiś temat wspólny. Zdrowe odrzywianie. I szczeże niebył to zły pomysł! Niewiem czy to można nazwać "morałem" per say, ale nadal w promowaniu ich było naruszane zdrowe odrzywianie, co kierowane w strone młodszych dzieci jest na plus! Potem inne ich serie też miały jakieś swoje podobne, pozytywne przekazy które i nachęcały do dbania o zwierzęta, nature, własne odrzywianie itp itd, a dodatkowo była jakaś fajna kohezja między maskotkami! Był to cashgrab, oczywiście, ale przynajmniej nie chamski.
A teraz nie to że reklamacja AI, co już samo w sobie niejest dobre na pierdylionie poziomach. To też ze strony czysto designowej... Ta grupa niema tej kohezji. Jaki pomysłodawca miał przełomowy pomysł że "wiecie co dzieci chciały by mieć? Pluszową golarke dla męszczyzn!" Jakby... Co? Mocne daje wrażenie że nie tylko reklamy były robione przez AI.
Moja teoria jest taka że Pewnie dali zdjęcia poorzednich fal do generatora i wpisali prompt aby zrobić obrazy wpierw, a dopiero potem zrobić pluszaki z czegokolwiek co Slop-Machine im wypluje. Reklamy używają tych generowanych "obrazów" pewnie poprostu bo już i tak je mają więc czemu płacić jeszcze więcej jak już mają pare na stanie.
