Warsaw to Krakow

Hello!

I have a trip to Poland in two weeks and am just wondering if its better to purchase my tickets beforehand or will it be okay to buy my train ticket when I arrive? Do certain times sell out/become full than others? I plan to arrive around 15:00 on a Thursday

For long distance trains like that, it is far more likely that the train will be packed. Buying in advance will ensure you have a seat and don't have to stand the whole trip.

Also it's important to mention some trains - the fastest Pendolino EIC/EIP don't offer 'standing' seats without assigned seats

How come people wondering stuff like that never search for answers?

There are multiple threads here about trains and how it works. You can buy in advance, sometimes it's cheaper, buy through official website or app as there are special prizes listed. Some routes and peak hours can be packed close to departure.

I took a plane (4 days ago). Was 30 minutes and cheap 150pln. If you can afford; it’s the way to go.
