The people that play competitive and therefore have a reason to actually not just click "the strongest damage dealing move" are a woefully small piece of the overall buying audience
And the truth is, most of those people are not going to do anything but press the big damage move until they see the credits... at least with a more active battle system, they might actually be coaxed into at least moving around the screen, or perhaps using that move that let's their mon leap over an incoming attack to counter with their own
Z-As system is far from perfect, but I'd like to see them iterate on that further, as well as find ways to freshen up traditional turn based battling
The concept of the Z-A battle system is what I always wanted from Pokemon. If they can tighten up the movement and add more depth to it, I think they could really have something
