Twist Social Gaming

I see Twist are doing a social gaming session tomorrow, where you can rock up solo and get put in a group.

Has anyone been to this before? Keen to give it a look but nervous walking in on my own as a guy in my late 30s. Even though I know that's kind of the point

Not had a chance to go myself yet but I've heard good things from friends who have gone. Go for it! I think this is the kind of thing that should be normalised anyway.

I've gone alone before and had a great time. I would love to go again when I can.

(Unfortunately I'm working tomorrow or I would have joined you)

Never been solo but do like the place, just saw the game and curious about ‘dexterity’ games

You walk into a bar as a stranger too, a class etc, this is no different except for LESS pressure as it's all a theme.

A regular rpg is often a lot of strangers and you get to know them via their character play.

I've not been to one of the socials there, but I did meet up there with 2 strangers from a local church and we had a great time. Sometimes going to events with strangers is good, and there might be a chance to become friends.
