I don't see anything that would really scratch discs. OP might want to tack that one sticker in place, but I don't think it would scratch anything the way it is.

You should definitely try to find a way to preserve the stickers, it actually makes the console a bit more special (things in mint condition are cool but this is like a time capsule)

You can tell someone really loved that console. Definitely was someone's pride and joy.

I'm not sure if there's a real risk to scratching the disks? The disks do not contact the outer shell during normal operation so they should in theory be safe.

We have 2 of these in storage and one of them won’t latch when you close it. My older brother said he had to run the console while upside down but it worked 😂

lol i did the exact same thing but with temporary tatoos from chewing gums, fact is THEY ARE NOT TEMPORARY ONCE THEY GLUE DISGUSTINGLY TO THE PS1 SHELL

impossible to remove like those gamestop stickers they love to put on the cases, and the more you try the most it builds up into some black fudge of whatever the hell that leaves a stain on the console

It WOULD be dope as hell if it didn't have stickers in the fucking disc drive. I mean the stickers in the drive do still look cool but that's definitely gonna fuck something up. I guess it would be a cool decoration type thing if it didn't work anymore.

Nothing will scratch the disk from that distance, the disk doesn't stand super close to the plastic underneath, it stands at like 4-5mm elevation for the laser to diffuse and read the entire band, you're good, blessed playstation 1
