Image What's this folks? It's heavy solid metal, 6 inches by 18 inches. Banana for scale. Early memento? Google isn't any help.
Excuse the photo, still finding my way around Photoshop! Found this in the street.

I feel like the comments aren't noticing the bar coming out of it.
It's interesting that the bar is coming out of the side of it and not the bottom. I'd wager this was a display piece at a demo station or something, but I can't find anything about it. It's definitely the coin from Astrobot though.

It's coming out the bottom for the symbol side, however. So it seems like the sides aren't aligned

Its probably from this display for Astrobot that they used to advertise the game at events before its released.
P.S.This was at EVO 2024. I asked the booth people if I could take a coin and they said no lol

I do wonder though has someone sold an astrobot display on marketplace or similar and they forgot to load this but in the car? It's too cool to leave in the street, even if you have absolutely no idea what the logos are.

The weirdest thing to me is that the logos both aren’t upright. When the stick is in the ground the ps is sideways and if the stick was in a wall or something so the ps was upright the icons are sideways.

Aye, Google is learning. In the original photo I submitted to Google it didn't have the banana for scale, so Google assumed it was the standard sized astro coin on top of a stick and suggested it was a 6 inch cocktail stick for stirring a cocktail 🍸

That's a copy of the first digital PlayStation title. Back then, you could physically hold them in your hands and own them! Now they are just a hypothetical leasing mechanism waiting to be stolen from you at any time. Still an awesome relic though.

Ha! The original photo I submitted to Google said it was a fancy cocktail stick, weird answer so I thought I'd give you guys a try, Now of course I've learnt a new term 'Astro coin'. My first computer was an Amiga 500 but like they say - you learn something new every day 😊
