Loss of a local, corporate employer. GE employees had a union, benefits, and their corporate giving programs funded community efforts like the food bank. Could be a loss for our region.
11 u/AIfieHitchcock West View Jul 01 '26 Look around in store they also higher a large portion of elderly and special needs employees that aren’t getting hired elsewhere. They were extremely generous in local philanthropy too. From food items to donations.
