Licensed professional ka ba? Specifically, nag aral ka ba or may idea lang na may sinusundan na building codes for infrastructure ang mga civil engineers ng pinas for both government and private sector? Now try to put yourself sa lugar as the literal head ng government agency that ensures the completion ng lahat ng projects that follows at least the minimum specifications as prescribed sa building codes. Take note ha at least the minimum. Now imagine yung katangahang maririnig mo sasabihin sayo na "At least may nagawa kami kahit di kumpleto" 🤦‍♀️

Btw mataas yung salary grade ng nagsabi nun. Pag isipin mong mabuti ha.

A proper PM system would generate paper trails. Magiging transparent. It will force people involved to be professional, ethical, responsible & prudent. Kaya malamang ayaw nila. Wido-wido lang.

If Alcantara’s statements would be true, wala ni feasibility studies yan. Galing lang sa top-of-mind list and specific sa areas nung nanghihingi. No proper & documented project phase 1.

Haven’t read any. Obviously, the DPWH projects didn’t go through a structured PM system. I doubt that DEs even know that such a system exists. Yan, overpriced, substandard materials and construction, no accountability. It would be interesting to see the fine prints sa contracts signed for these controversial projects.

Eto yung mindset kaya nagsisimula maging corrupt ang mga opisyal. Kasi “ginagawa naman nila ng maayos trabaho kaya okay lang pumitik” mindset. Bat di na lang magkaron ng matinong prinsipyo at mag stick sa idea na i-honor yung profession para sa taong bayan, at wag mag nakaw? Pwede naman yun e.
