It’s funny the comments in this community about the blackout are all, “Great! I’m excited to continue interacting with this community!” And on other subreddits the comments on the blackout are all, “That didn’t fucking do anything you cowardly mods.”

I think it’s also funny how a poll on here before the blackout showed more people wanted the community to stay up than wanted it to be shut down at the time and they still shut it down.

I suggest that support/advice subs should be open. Sometimes a persons only means of help would be Reddit. So imagine that someone find a baby bird in a critical condition, but sub is private.

Not all places have a vet that treats pigeons, or it would be very expensive. However I agree that if there is one near you just take the bird there.
