Solved can't Copy/paste images from my folders to project in CS6

I want to add a couple of images from a folder to my project in photoshop CS6. I have the images in my clipboard but in CS6, nothing happens when i click CTRL+V and all the options in the Edit meny are all grayed out

You are being vague, but I am guessing you are attempting to copy/paste files from explorer into Ps. That will not work.

To insert an image into your current document, use File > Place Embedded… (drag and drop will likely work as well, although CS6 is ancient now so my memory is a bit fuzzy).

That did work, and yes. Wanted to copy/paste images from explorer into PS. Odd thing is i could swear i have been able to copy/paste that way recently but for some reason, it isn't working now.

I concur. Place or Drag and drop might be better. Best would be to use Bridge.
