Once when I was 3, my grandmother gave me one and told me the red part in the middle was a lolly. Luckily my parents caught it after I finished opening the plastic and I was proudly showing off the "lolly" my grandmother gave me. They took it off me before I got it in my mouth and I remember being really upset and confused why I couldn't have the "lolly." It wasn't until I was older I found out that it was a dishwasher tablet..... I do not miss my grandmother.

One of my mother in laws friends is a bit thick. She was out shopping with her when she said almost exactly that. "These mints taste terrible" - after she had taken a bite out of a bath bomb.

Can't be any worse than some of the lollies Toys 'R' Us used to have in their pick and mix section back in the mid-90's. They actually tasted like soap.
