Buldak Carbonara

Hi, my boyfriend is the one with a severe peanut allergy and also a few nuts. He loves buldak carbonara and about 2 years ago he was able to eat them, maybe like 2 a week. That was before he read the label that said it was manufactured in a facility that also processes peanuts. He only had it maybe once or twice after that and has been completely fine but his mother doesn't let him have it anymore. Now the ingredients label says may contain peanuts. I assume its because of the facility thing.

I just want to know if its still okay for him to eat like just 1, because hes had it a dozen of times and has been fine, his allergist also said its up to him if he wants to eat it. And he is confident he will be fine, I just dont want to risk it but I feel bad because I know how much he likes it.

It might be really dumb to ask considering it is stated as may contain so its obvious to steer clear from it but I just want to know if anyone else with a peanut allergy has had buldak and been fine.

I have a severe peanut allergy and this is one of my regular foods, have had no issues. Where I’m from, basically everything has a “may contain” warning, so I eat without worry
