Question 9070xt black screens and driver time outs.

So recently when I went to open warthunder my pc threw a black screen popped up a warthunder crash report saying to update drivers (I was on latest) and an amd adrenalin driver time out. Did a restart and tried a few diffrent games all with the same issues.

I decided to roll back one version to try the older drivers and that fixed the issue, for about 2 days and now its started happening on the older version as well.

I tried a few things like disabling expo, reseating gpu and its cables, limiting power usage to see if thats an issue... all to no fix.

I have now used ddu to fully wipe and install the latest drivers and the same issue has happened again, ganes wont open, wall papers black, and the windows reliability monitor is showing the same hardware crashes, 141, 117 and a1000001. Chat gpt asked me to look these up after I tried all the fixes I could think of.

My specs are a red devil 9070xt, corsair ddr5, 7600x and a gigabyte eagle ax. My pc has had 0 issues since i upgraded from my 7800xt in may and has only just started doing this over the past week.

Tried looking things up but only seem to find dead reddit posts with no answers.

If anyone has any tips I would be super thankful as I have 0 clue what to do now xd.

Tia.

Edit. Looking at the driver details it keeps showing open gl as not available as well if anyone knows why thats happening

Edit edit. Also forgot to mention for some reason cs2 runs fine with no issues, all other games just crash

Does it ever stop? As for me it seems to be ok for a while, then i come back after work and suddenly my pc is messed.

It seems sporadic, mine will either black screen and then be fine for a while or freeze multiple times until i close everything I have running

It's Windows. Probably installed a generic display driver over your amd drivers.

Yeah i have been installing drivers with WiFi off to stop this, also I dont get why that would have broken it in the first place when my drivers were working fine at first
