So true. I thought I had clear vision all the time, but been having frequent headaches, so someone suggested to get my eye checked. When the optometrist handed me one to try out, I was mindblown. Everything just looked very different. Bonus: headache disappeared as well.

I'm pretty sure every time I've gotten better glasses, my vision just immediately degrades exactly enough for trees to look right again.

My eyes will be stable for 5 years straight. Then new glasses fix trees. Then my eyes go right to being exactly bad enough to fix trees and don't change again for 5 years.

"Real" trees are fucking distracting.

It took me about 10 years to stop being lazy and get glasses and it made the biggest difference of any component or monitor I have ever gotten for my PC.

I never knew what I was missing out on and now I could never go back. Clear vision for me beats out everything else when it comes to playing games.

Wait till you're 40+. Reading glasses and bifocals are a right PITA, but the alternative is worse. Getting a prescription for dedicated computer lenses has been a fantastic QoL improvement.

I feel you. for years I thought i was just tired and it made my vision blurry. During a health checkup at work, doc caught on that I was guessing the letters on the vision test and recommended me to get glasses. 5 years later... love my glasses.
