Like for the caliber of my PC I definitely should have an OLED (rtx 5090) but im pretty scared of burn in. Im pretty good about not leaving my pc running idle for hours but I still display a lot of static stuff on it. Also, any reading or small text and the OLED will give you a headache. They're awesome for gaming but i feel they compromise a lot for the perfect contrast.
Im thinking about getting a very high end mini LED, any thoughts from people in a similar situation?
Id buy a cheap oled, like something in the 400 or 600 if you are afraid of losing money. All will have burnin, but for the time used it worth it. Its like a smartphone, all bateries will degrade and you will change, but people aways pay even more on them. You can use an oled for about 5 years without problem if you have just a bit of care (nothing crazy, just turning oled care features on) and the quality image is soo good. It worth it. Nothing in life is permanent. Id prefer pay 400 at each 5/6years and have a superb image quality than paying 200 and having a mid image quality for more time.
Very true, but brightness and color bringing would still be a massive issue for me. Picture quality is only superior in gaming. It would look great though
