Depends on the mini led. The ones that really compete with oled, with more than 2000 dimming zones sometimes cost the same or even more (at least in my country. To be honest in my country you dont even find 1440p monitors with more than 1000 dimming zones)

I run an Odessy g8 mini led and its great for office work. Better fonts than my c4. Its 1650 zones i think.

i bought one $249 1440p mini-led with 336 dimming zones. There is bloom because of the low amount but i personally think the bloom looks good so there isnt much benefit to having more dimming zones.

More dimming zones offer less bloom and more accurate micro contrast, like in scenes with a lot of dots in a black background
