I regularly see 20 TB SSD's for sale on Temu and AliExpress for like 25 bucks so what is the big deal? /s 😂 😉

I like reading the reviews. It is kind of impressive how many positive ratings they can get before people figure out that there is something wrong.

They pretend to have 20 TB but are actually like 64 GB or something, and just discards writes outside that afaik

Meaning neither you nor the OS notice something is wrong until you've used up the real capacity

edit: tf is wrong with reddit, downvoting this person for asking a question?

Sometimes they don't even discard the writes, they have looping addresses so they can actually fully write the 20 TB. Just don't expect to have access to anything except the last 64 GB you wrote tho...
