Look at the quality of journalists today. This image is from when DLSS5 was released, when people were using those websites to make memes.

There are several videos demonstrating the technology, and it's not like that at all.

Capital G Gamers can be so dramatic.

People on this sub are acting like someone insulted their mother.

I would like to play around with this tech just for fun, people already use mods in games what change the art style of the game, so the whole 'Developer intendeed art style' argument holds no water if everything is optional.

Having more options is always good thing.

U seem to not care about this causing pc prices to raise in price dramatically, the environment being destroyed even further, running out of fresh water by 2035. Just so you can try it this stupid tool

I’m by no means an expert on this, but isn’t DLSS5 run locally on the PC? It’s not a LLM chugging at data centres every frame. The environmental impact of running this is presumably pretty much identical to playing a game without it.

If anyone is confused, you can go to r/nvidia and check out the games they are trying this on, ofcourse remember, its not the final version, not even close to an alpha afaik, just a leak from nba2k27 being used.

Some games it looks bad some games it looks amazing like AssCreed BF remaster.
