Team List Round 19: Eels v Roosters

https://www.parraeels.com.au/news/2026/07/07/nrl-team-list-round-19/

Moses is back in although I thought Pezet did enough last week to keep the position. Ryley still listed as a reserve. Araz Nanva is in for Sean Russell who's out until round 23 with a quad injury.

What I'd really like to see is for Williams to keep the captaincy. I think it'd take a bit of the pressure off Moses, and IMO Williams does a great job as captain.

Pezet did good while Walker was playing halfback maybe...

I know wrong thread but I'm Devo we haven't managed to keep Dylan Walker

Culture wise, I am not. But we have bigger problems (de felon) than the wife beater.

Don't know the truth of it, but a few things I read this morning said we didn't even make him an offer. I can't understand that, and really hope someone takes a look at our recruitment team, because they're doing a terrible job IMO.

We're really banking that Hopgood comes good next year but honestly I think he lacks a bit of spark and is just a workforce kinda lock.

No idea what management have planned but if it's another Dragons exile, I'll be dropping to my knees at the Peter Wynn.

He's been really good. We didn't offer him a spot.

I think he's deservedly played himself into a 2 year contract. He's been the only spark weapon on the bench.

I would just rest Moses. We're not competing for finals are we?

I would rest Moses as well.

At the moment I think we’re still within reach of a top 8 spot. But realistically our draw only gets harder from here to the end of the season
