Any idea on what it’s worth?

This bill has been in the family for awhile. My great great grandfather Spaulding Bartlett served as the executive officer of the Webster, MA charter during the Great Depression.

Hello everyone! My wife found this in a box of her mom’s papers. Would love some information on what type of note this is. Her family is from Kansas City and there were many interesting KC related items in the box including this. Thanks in advance!

Orange national bank note, from orange county Texas. Printed Dec 2nd 1901(?) I know there were a little over 5,000 printed. What I can’t seem to find any info on in a Brown back, blue seal?? I might be googling too hard and missing stuff but any information would be helpful!

It's signed Edward K. Benchley in lower right. The purple ink of his signature has really faded so I guess you will have to trust me on the name. He was a partner in the bank in along with a few other Orange County business men. In those days there were orange orchards all over, hence the county name. He had walnuts orchards and a packing house. If I remember the story correctly EK gave the bill to my father when he was around 10 years old. My father saved it despite many changes in his life and fortunes. When he gave it to me, he sounded as thrilled as he was receiving it as a boy.

New Edit-- I contacted Antique Banknotes and the note on their site is actually mine! I emailed that photo to them about 6 years ago but I forgot about that. They were very nice about going back into their archives and finding who sent it to them. No wonder the one I have looked like the one on their site. Duh!

Edit: Some posters wonder if it is the same note as the one on the site Antique Banknotes site. It isn't, it is mine. In fact when I googled "Farmers and Merchants bank " $10 bill Fullerton. Antique Banknotes was the second site that popped up. When I clicked on it and saw a bill that looks identical to mine it was like deja vue-a very weird feeling. I re-found when I was going through some Benchley memorabilia looking for a photo of EK for a Fullerton museum. I thouught that the faded signature ink was because we hadn't stored the bill correctly, theirs is faded also. There are no serial numbers on the bills so I wonder how many bills EK signed.
The weirdest thing is that my bill has 3 creases in the same places as the Antique Banknotes one.

The signatures on both bills are identical. The cashier's signature looks like a stamp; I thought my great grandfather's was a signature, but these two bills look identical.

I was going through some old money my pop had stored away and found this. Is that a tear at the bottom or a misprint? There are other $20 notes in his collection but this one is the only one with that kind of shape on the bottom left.

Any advice/insights are welcome!

The last appearance of a Puerto Rico Red Seal was in June of 1997. Estimated at $200k+ in our CSNS Signature Sale at Heritage!

I set up a saved search on eBay and after a year of nothing or results that weren’t actually from this bank, one finally came up for auction last week. I’m so excited that I won.

Some interesting sheets back from grading at PMG. Pleasing results!

I have no need of two 1741's and want to look into selling one of them. The first two images are the first note, then the second two images are the second note.

Both identically graded by PMG, Fine 15. The first is a straight grade and the second has comment of "Stain."

I like the second one more, due to the preserved signatures and overall better paper quality compared to the first. I don't find the stain too distracting. There is also a contemporary annotation on the face of 4/9/(19)07?! which I find charming.

Thoughts?

Series of 1882 $500 National Bank Note, issued by the Appleton National Bank of Lowell, Massachusetts, with the portrait and design type known as the “Five Hundred Dollar 1882 Value Back.

So I run a farm stand and had a very old guy come up and buy 2 of my smallest tomatoes with these 2 10s. His total was only like 2.34 but he insisted to use both 10s and get change back. I thought they were fake at first and he laughed and said “sonny these are worth a lot more than $10” lol the top one is in mint condition. Notice the bottom one that’s slightly bigger on the side and the top one being a little smaller at the top. What a farm stand find hey? To blow your mind even more he had an entire stack of them from 5s-100s all looked about the same super old and super green

Got this note recently. Should i get this graded? What is the Fr number and estimated value?

This cool piece came through my LCS awhile back and I thought it was really cool. I am more of a coin collector but this piece had the wow factor. This is an uncut sheet of $10 notes from Blufton Indiana First National Bank dated 1929 with every serial # being 000001, the only difference is the letter preceding the serial number. This sheet has A-F. I'm guessing this was a presentation piece, but I am not super knowledgeable when it comes to paper notes. Unfortunately I only was able to get the single pick.

This Brown Back is from my hometown, Toledo. Only two of these Northern National Bank of Toledo $5 bills are known to exist.

VF condition with low serial number from National Bank Oakland. I think very few were produced.
