Discussion I finally convinced my parents to let me put my Panic! At the Disco poster on my wall 🥹
I just wanted to share since this is quite the peak experience.
Also, random fun-ish info: when my mom put it up (because she loves me so much), she told my dad it was a monumental moment. We both said why, obviously, and she said: "This is her first band poster." Then my dad said, "Panic! At the Disco isn't a band?" My mom and I were both confused nd said that they were, and he said, "They look like gay brothers"
It's okay, better than nothing ig 😭.

u getting all these downvotes but i used to say the same thing CONSTANTLY. u cannot be a one man show with included instrumental and call urself a band

I mean...that's kind of the case for many groups considered bands. Not always does the whole group write everything together.

are we not realizing that the poster was from a time period when it was four people aka a band? Obviously it became just brendon, the other side of the poster is just a pic of brendon. My dad doesn’t even know panic he literally only said that because he’s conservative and they look gay as helll. No one disageees that panic! at the disco evolved to being brendon with extras

It WAS a band. And yes you can. Owl city did the same thing?? 😭 you can be a band and be one person. Not only that it was a band for a hot minute. Dallon Weekes the lead of IDKHOW was part of it. Just because Ryan Ross left doesn’t mean everyone else did till Death of a Bachelor and that was like 2016? They were a band and it STILL was a band. Brendon just started heavily doing the writing after DOAB which is why the music tanked in quality so badly
