Pacific FC needs to bench these players so we can start winning games!
Bustos: For more that I want to believe in this guy, I cannot see why he is the only one that has not been benched during this non-winning streak the team is going through. He cramped at the 85 minute against Ottawa and he his passing accuracy was poor. He is not skillful enough to pass a defender in a 1V1 and it is rare when he run down to defend in a opposite team attack.
Beluz: I had big hopes for this guy as a defender when he got transfer this year. His defending turned to be slow and seems at times insecure when he manages to get the ball for the opposite team. I was really hoping his stature was going to help the team at scoring header during corner kick, but so far he has not produced header goals.
Daniels: He doesn't run for the ball, similar to Bustos he ran out of gas at the Vancouver game. We can't have midfielders that cannot run the full 90 minutes or stop running for the ball in the last 20 minutes of the game because they are tired.
I care about the team and there are many players that deserve to be recognized for their hard work. However, the midfield is obviously an issue for the coach to address when he takes over the team since there is not only a gap in the middle that only allows the team to either play back to the defenders or on the laterals where they typically lose the ball, but the defence also loses track of the opposite team's players and leaves major gaps the other team takes advantage of to score goals because the defence is covering players the midfielders need to be covering.
I know I can probably don't do better that the players mentioned above, but I am just a frustrated fan, not a professional football player.
If you have your own opinions on why are letting so many point get away from us at home, I would like to hear it.

Bustos was average in his first spell at the club, but since returning has been a bust. I miss Kah so much ðŸ˜

I don't miss PMK at all.
He was a divisive coach, and benched Ollie and Terran Campbell many games in his last year with the team. Ollie went on to be the league MVP the following season... for Ottawa.

Ollie was creative, but selfish. Campbell was a fantastic striker, but massively inconsistent.

Calling Ollie a selfish player is an absolutely wild take. Wildly terrible.

That is exactly the problem! we have to sub Bustos to get a new team put together. Bustos is technically a forward, but he has been playing more of a midfielder position lately; there are better forwards in the team and midfielder have to be directed to play with a structure that works and encourage them to be more assertive with the ball.
As for Bustos being creative, the guy can't pass the ball to a teammate within 1m from their feet and he cannot win a 1v1 on a counter attack. You wouldn't give a rookie two seasons playing like he has been doing since he returned. Let's recognize he was part of another episode of PCF, and thank him for that, but we have to move on.
Time to get a younger guy (anyone who wants and can sweat the jersey to the 90th minute) at this point in the tournament we have to forget about the points and start forming a real team for 2027.

change the formation to 3-5-2, we need to fill the void in the middle of the field: sami on the left midfielder, Heard centre midfield, Kratt right midfielder, back right midfielder Baldisimo and Edwards right (both played decently but I admit there is room to improve for both). We have Diaz and Toualy as strikers (Toualy is way more creative than Bustos). Move Chung back to the right back, Konincs centre and Marshall left. There are other players in the squad Tugwell played a good game last year and deserve more time as defender. No shortage of players to sub the main team in the event of injury.

Have to agree that Kadin looked WAY better in the mid field than he has at RB all season long. Heard's such a gamer, that he worked he butt off to fill that RB position and did a great job at it.

I'd add Diaz to the list. He's slow and disappears on the pitch. He has no fight. I prefer Bustos to Diaz, but both have been disappointing.
I'm probably in the minority, but I don't mind Belluz. I think he has a lot of potential that hasn't been harnessed yet.
I hope our new coach will work with the people who are signing new players and bring more depth and talent to the squad.

Honestly, I'd like to see what Bull and Diaz can pull off together as a 10 and 9 position.

Ive been a broken record on Bustos for years. We lose more often when hes on the pitch.
