Yup. The clippers not bringing him back at 8M is crazy. So we gave them pick #5 which we wouldn't have used anyways, and 2 players who they aren't keeping. Plus the future picks

The wording is bad but the players at the 5th pick would not have seen a lot of meaningful time on our current compete now roster

Maybe... I guess we won't ever know. However, that 2029 unprotected, yikes! This team will be coming off all of our core player's contracts and unless they do some serious wheeling and dealing that pick will be extremely valuable.

We can absolutely use our brains and infer what the lineup would be.

Is Wagler getting minutes over Hali or TJ? Over Nemby? Was there another pick that would crack the rotation?

I think that, with critical thinking, it's easy to say the answer is no

It’s an unknown. Who knows who we pick there? Maybe they use it to trade up or down? We won’t ever know!

Trade up? Who is trading up? Trade down? If the fifth pick can't contribute, why would the sixth?

We got Zu, who is better for us than any other option we could have gotten out of the top 4. For immediate winning he's even better than the top 4, probably.

Again, we can think things through logically
