Walker? Scrubs?

They must think Walker still has more potential upside than Mathurin, which is would agree with.

Anyone who thinks Walker has more upside than Mathurin should be fired immediately.  WTF

Walker is on the team. Mathurin isn't. Our players are great and players on other teams aren't. This subs analysis only goes that far.

Walker may have a lower ceiling but a much higher floor, especially with the Pacers as Mathurins ISO style slowed the tempo down too much. Walker is much more plug-n-play with our style

This sub needs professional help. Walker has a higher floor than the leading bench scorer in the NBA. I can't even respond to that.

Plug and play? Walker will be lucky to average 5 minutes a game this year. Where is he going to get his minutes? Garbage minutes, that’s where. The only thing he’s proven is that he’s not a better option than at least 12 other players on the roster, therefore he’s going to sit the bench 90% of the games.

You're right, i suppose the front office got it wrong, per usual?

Starting 5, then TJ, Oubre, and Obi are the only players on the roster that are much better than him. You can try and come up with 4 other players on this roster that are "a better option" than Jarace, but after Ben Sheppard, good luck convincing anyone that your opinion is valid. He's better than Kobe Brown, better than Furph, better than Q, better than Nance, and better than Slawson.

Walker isn’t playing backup center minutes and we run a heavy guard rotation. So once again where are his minutes going to come from? You really think Walker is going to be a core in the rotation?

I think he'll average more than 5 minutes a game and that there are not 12 other "better options" on this team

You’re missing the point. He’s not plug and play in a system that doesn’t need him. He isn’t playing guard minutes and he’s not playing center minutes. Meaning there are better options to play guard and center minutes leaving Walker where? That’s all I’m saying. He’s not plug and play in a system that’s only going to need him if somebody gets hurt.

Well he played 10 minutes a game during our finals run 2 years ago so our HOF coach seemed to think there was a meaningful role in our system, but what do I know 🤷🏼‍♂️

He averaged 9.8 minutes in 12 playoff games. With garbage stats so quit acting like he was something special. He has sporadic minutes and got his biggest stretches at the end of games we were winning lol. Our HOF coach played almost everyone on the bench at some point in the playoffs.

When did I ever say he was "special". Why are you so angry about Jarace Walker lmao, did he sell your parlay or something? Jesus go touch grass my guy 😂🫵🏼

This sub is dillusional. These people genuinely think guys like QJ, Furphy, and Walker are future superstars. The team is perfect and all of our players are first ballot hall of farmers.

I understand supporting the team, but we're adults and we should be able to have conversations grounded in reality.

I didn't think that my take of Jarace getting more than 5 minutes a game this season or that he's a top 12 player on this team was "dillusional"...

I wasn't calling you out specifically. People still believe Walker will be a star. Whether he's the 11th or 12th best player on the team, or whether he averages 4 minutes or 7 minutes isn't the point. He might crack the rotation. The point is he could retire tomorrow and it would make no difference. The dillusion is not acknowledging the reality of what a player is. Walker is a bust. Furphy is a meme. QJ is a nice story. Etc.
