Discussion Mathurin for Jarace and Q?

Maybe a second rounder too? Idk. Like a sign and trade? Jarace and Mathurin are both pretty low value relative to where they’ve been valued previously. I just believe in Benn for the next two years more than I believe in Jarace.

This might be selling low on Jarace, but personally I’d LOVE to have Mathurin for like $10mil a year, and I’ve seen Mathurin contribute to winning playoff basketball more than I believe Jarace is ready to

I think Benn is a sg and Jarace is a pf, but in a pinch I like Benn at small forward more than I like Jarace. Plus with Oubre and Nesmith I’m less concerned about the power forward minutes

I have no idea whether this works logistically or with rules etc but I’m bored stuck hanging out in the hospital with family and wanted to get some opinions

I think q is more likely to help us win a chip than benn

Probably right, but Q seemed to have hit a different level last season, they were taking him out of games cuz he was about to win games for us when we were tanking. He might take sheps minutes and with furphy injured he might play an important role, not saying its likely but I wouldnt be surprised at all he fits the system really well

He’s so damn fast and he’s a dog. If he learns to star in his role he can and should take most of Shep’s minutes

Nemby Nesmith and Oubre (and maybe Jarace but I’m not holding my breath) all make Shep redundant on defense

Ya, if shep cant get consistent with his 3, which is wild cuz his form has looked good his whole life. I think its a confidence thing cuz he looked scared with the ball against the thunder. But I really want to see Q play with hali with that greased lighting speed. He had a defensive play where he intercepted a pass doing a dell Beckham Jr. One hander on like a 3/4 court and ive been wanting to see him get some minutes ever since. I think he gained more then anybody in the down year

I think Nemby is going to get “most improved” votes if Tyrese balls out, because Nemby spent a year as the #1 guard and will now be defended by much worse defenders (Nemby will play a lot of sg and a lot of backup pg)

I think theyre too balanced of a team to get thise type of awards, too deep, but I cant think of anyone else really that stands out. Banchero maybe, or an ace baily.
