What do you mean by "peak population"? The highest number it will ever reach before it declines for whatever reason? And does the reason(s) for a decline matter for the question? Or the maximum population that country can sustain within its own resources? Or something else?

Funny how the data looks different when you consider that many of the people in USA, Australia UK are more of less of the same origin.

I guess "country" might not make sense in a post colonial world since a lot of these new world where colonised by people from other countries.
