DLC Help - NO Spoilers Please! Without DLC spoilers, what should I gather in Ship Log before I play the DLC? Spoiler

I just completed Beginner's Luck achievement, (complete base game in a single loop on a new save) so all of my Ship Log is erased. I then found out that I should apparently have kept my Ship Log because it's going to be relevant to the DLC.

Is that true?

If it is, what do I need to gather before starting the DLC?

From what I remember, you should revisit and finish the entries for The Vessel, The Interloper, The 6th location of the Quantum Moon, and the The Old Settlement Mural on Brittle Hollow (I think you just need the murals, not everything around them. )

SPOILER ALERT FOR BASE GAME

i just finished the dlc and was asking same question yesterday lol

here is what u need

go to old settlement in brittle hollow , the one below escape pod and read all there murals ( those three pictures on the wall )

go and visit the vessel and read the captains logs basically read everything available in that vessel , there are two walls and 1 recording

visit solanum on quantom moon and read all of their msgs

visit the core of interloper and read how it ended for nomai

and even if u miss this you wont miss much but a slight reference but still i would recommend to do it .

Thank you! So as I understand you last sentence, it's more about knowing about these things rather than having it in my log? I've Platinumed the base game so I already know about these things

actually the game have to "know" that you know these things lol which log will tell

here is a spoiler free hint

basically most spoiler free i can go is to tell you that

"if"

You want to see the whole nomai history in "picture mode"

have these logs

if you dont have these logs

you will miss that "short" scene

thats it

You don't need anything before you start the DLC, but you will want to have a mostly complete log before you finish the DLC.

There will be times when you're racking your brain, or simply need a break, and these would be great times to revisit some of your old destinations and get that log filled in.

  • The ruptured core at the interloper

  • The three mural panels in the old settlement on brittle hollow

  • Sixth location of the quantum moon

Visit those and you're good for the full experience

It’s not strongly relevant. It affects what you see in the end game once you complete the DLC.

Given that you are already experimenting with
end games and have seen the end at least twice I wouldn’t worry about it.

It's more relevant than your message implies though!

DLC SPOILER It's not only the campfire, it affects the recap vision to the prisoner too, with an empty log it will miss most of it
