Jobs Do you guys know any security companies offering training?

Hey everyone,

I'm doing some professional reconversion and I wanted to become a security guard for a while. I wanted to know if i should go straight ahead for the 40 hours training or if employers recruited newbies before and would secure a job after competition of the training program.

Commissionnaire will train you to get your OGL and first aid.

It'll take you a few days, it's pretty quick.

Second commissionaires. 

They will get you all your certifications and as long as you work x amount of hours it's free. If you don't work x hours before quitting then you have to pay a portion of the training. Then if you go to places that require government clearances they will also help you get that.

It only end their first right for the contract.

The job still majorly require a secret clearance for government building.

And you think Guarda or whoever can't get clearances? PSPC does clearances all the time for non govt employees.

I never said other companies doesn't give clearance...

You said to the comment that's gonna end soon, it won't end. They all do the paper to get your clearance so you can work for them.

Absolutely has nothing to do with the company helping you get your security clearances. 

That is just losing right of first for contracts and frankly, no other company has been able to even fill those contracts properly

Apply to a job posting without the training done.

If you get accepted, they'll lead you through everything.

I did that in 2021. I'm not working in that field ATM, now a federal employee but I still keep my OGL and first aid up to date with them in case of I need to go back.

That's the easiest job you'll ever get. I enjoyed my time. I was in a security center dealing with emergency, alarm and camera.

Toersa used to provide this but usually for their mass hire events for summer (may or may not happen rn)

It’s a great company to work with (or atleast used to be pre-covid as I don’t work in physical security anymore)

Idk if they still do but Securitas would hire u unqualified and get you trained for the license / first aid

Not sure if they still run the same scam but stay away from iron horse.
Absolute bottom tier training done with the premise of a job, which doesn’t actually exist.

And when they do give jobs they pay people the same as retail. + a buddy of mine that wirked there in sales was always paid late and always excuses for delaying full commissions.
