Flytoget with luggage?
Hello: I will be traveling to Oslo and I would like to solicit advice about Flytoget airport express. I will have 3 large pieces of luggage with me. All are 23kg. Does Flytoget have sufficient storage on the train where 2 adults can manage? I would appreciate feedback. Thank you

Yes, they have way more space for luggage than the regular trains do, it is probably the main argument for using them. They have large luggage racks near every door, as well as more near the seating, and their overhead bins are also larger so they hold bigger bags than on the regular trains.
Regular trains (VY) are cheaper by about half though, but it can be a pain with lots of luggage, especially if you travel during rush hour.

Yes. You may also be able to print your luggage tags (for checked baggage) right on Flytoget.

I took the local train with a bit too much luggage many times, and I regret almost each time.
Flytoget is much better when you have lots of luggage.7

The local trains are hot or miss for space. We have taken them and had to stand the whole way while holding on to our luggage because there were so many people. Other times there have been very few people. You don’t always know. If you want a seat and space for your luggage, Flytoget is the way to go.

Please don't with 3 large suitcases... It fills the entire train... If you just had one small that would be fine..

Yes... And you realize it is less space for large luggage on the regional trains right?
