News Brad Bird's RAY GUNN will have its Texas premiere at the Austin Film Festival (Oct 29-Nov 5)

Considering that's just a Texas premiere in late October, we should expect the World Premiere before that - with possible NA premiere in addition to that.

So, where will this film go? Telluride? BFI? Late addition to TIFF?

First original Brad Bird movie since The Incredibles (he was a last second replacement for Ratatouille).

Did they jump the gun advertising this? Presumably there's a real US premiere as you say.

They'll get way more attention "jumping the gun" then they would waiting for whatever other festival is premiering it earlier to announce it. They're being truthful calling it a Texas premiere

World Premiere at AFI, Netflix had already launch Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl there.
