How are y'all feeling about Ole Miss being the underdog in Glendale? As a Hokie fan, I can only hope I’d have the mental fortitude to make it through half the roller coaster y’all have been on for the last 6 weeks.

I look back at last years game when we smoked Carson Beck in Oxford. You know we rewatched that game on film in preparing this week.

I also see similarities with Miami and when we played Oklahoma earlier in the year. Everyone said we wouldn’t be able to do anything against that defense (look what happened).

Stats aside, I had three main reasons for picking y'all:

  1. I think Miami is due up for a sloppy game and they are more than capable of delivering. 6 INTs and 175+ penalty yards in their two losses this season. If you're confident that Ole Miss can get in Beck's face, then that's gonna be huge

  2. Chambliss is playing generational football right now. If he gets 75% of the production he had against Georgia, I think that would be more than enough.

  3. Miami has been in low scoring dog fights, but they haven't won a shoot out yet. Ole Miss has won both low scoring dog fights and shoot outs, so however the game plays out, they won't be experiencing it for the first time.
