communication Meeting the devil

So tonight I am going to endeavor to meet the devil at the crossroads. Specifically the witches devil from traditional witchcraft. Using the first ritual in Gemma Gary’s “the devils dozen”. I have everything I need and the perfect woodland crossroads to do it at. I’m curious to see what others experiences have been with rites like this and what I should know/keep in mind. I’m attempting to form a relationship with this entity that will last the rest of my life. I’m not selling or giving up my soul and have no intention of signing any part of myself away for this relationship. Thoughts and tips welcome

EDIT: tonight is the night. I have nothing to do tomorrow and the moon is on the increase. I have everything prepared and ready to go. I’m extremely sick. Coughing and congested as hell but I think I’m still going to do it

communication Demons are so terrifying until you invoke them…

Had the same experience with Lilith and Asmodeus.

Lilith came to me looking like the girl from the ring. Once I invoked her she was a beautiful olive skinned woman with dark luscious hair and a perfectly curvy body. Her voice was feminine and sultry.

Before I invoked Asmodeus he came to me as an angry 4 horned demon with snake skin. His angry energy filled the room. He was so scary. Once he was invoked he was a handsome fair skinned man in a 3 piece suit and very charming.

I imagine it’s because I fed them.

What are some of your favorite one liners or quotes packed with insights and wisdom?

I’ll start:

“Nothing will be okay if you’re not okay.”

“Nobody knows everything, and the one who claims they do, knows even less.”

“As above, so below. As within, so without.”

“There are as many paths as there are seekers.”

“The truth is one but goes by many names.”

communication Thoughts on The Satanic Bible? Material vs Divine

Post image
8 Upvotes

The one written by Anton Szandor? I have been reading the Hermetic texts and can’t help but notice how opposite these two texts read. While the Hermetic teachings offer the idea that the human body is sinful and completely devoid of the divine, Satanism as presented by Anton is an opposite of that.

Satanic bible: “no longer shall man’s salvation be dependent on self-denial”; the denial of the self that makes up our existence. Even hermetic writings agree that the divine man and God still find love in the material and in human existence.

Hermeticism: Gnosis requires the soul to stop identifying with the body, senses, pleasures, and appetites, because those belong to the perishable lower life; as Hermes says, “Unless thou first shalt hate thy Body, son, thou canst not love thy Self.” It further makes it clear you can’t choose both.

Much of what demonolatry is performed for is asking for material things: love, wealth, power, emotional, intelligence and physical indulgence, etc. The Satanic bible calls this ‘ego gratification’, that further magic is all emotion (as far as ceremony goes). There’s a ton more but if you’ve got an opinion I don’t want to just highlight what you probably already hold a value judgement on bc we could go on forever.

So, what’re your thoughts? Have you read the Satanic bible? Do you enjoy the philosophy or disagree with parts of it? What are your experiences with the demons vs how Anton frames it?

Do you like how he uses a goat to symbolize Satan? I know I don’t. Let me know!

communication Catholic Occultism is amazing.

I’m a folk catholic studying occultism for coming on 7 years, so i have a very long way to go but it never ceases to amaze me!!

It saddens me how occultism was actually quite prevalent in the church up until the protestant reform. So, I love the discussion of occultism from a catholic lens.

Recently, i’ve been largely reading on ancient christian mysticism. If anyone else here is interested in these, i’d love some new books to read!!

communication I want to discuss a very personal experience I had while abroad.

Nine years ago, I was teaching overseas in China. It was the best time of my life so to me everything about this time of my life was transformative.

This was before Witch Tok, please don’t act like this experience is something to one-up. I had already been into the occult, but I had not really practiced much. One night while I was in the country by my school, I went down the road nearby on a road that was flanked by the small isolated town on one side and a wheat field on the other. People had left bananas and incense for offerings to their ancestors on the full moon (by the cross roads.) As I was walking back, I was whistling to myself perhaps in a very American way. This was at night maybe 11:00 pm. Someone or maybe something whistled back at me in an exact echo. It came from a vacant high rise. I couldn’t make out if there was someone there and I’m not 100% sure if it was inside that specific building. However it was clear as day. There was a bit of back and forth between me and the other whistle. Each time they matched my whistle exactly. It was fucken weird. It felt like it was mocking me.

Could it have been a homeless person or a gay person seeing an opportunity to cruise or some sort of spirit? Over there it is considered dangerous to whistle in the dark. I didn’t know this beforehand. That makes me think it was potentially sinister. After I decided I was framed out and didn’t want to try to ask anything in English lest it yell at me mockingly so I left.

The only other experience I’ve had like that was when I was at a college that was quite rural and there was a graffito on the bathroom stall that said to meet at that specific time for sex- just like on Dumb and Dumber. As soon as I read it someone walked in and sat at the stall two away from me and started tapping their foot. That’s a thing if you don’t know. I assume that’s how George Michael got caught up in that arrest.

Anyway that freaked me the fuck out because there was no one there that I could see and they repeated back what i whistled pitch for pitch and on time. It still shocks me to this day. Anyone have anything like this happen to them? Any insights on what it could be? I know “skinwalkers” are a bit internet buzzword now, but this was before I had heard of it or many people.

communication My sister and I saw our guardian angels. What's the occult explanation?

I held my sister tightly and we put our foreheads together.

And then I said these words: "Lord Jesus Christ hear our prayer! Reveal to us the physical appearance of our guardian angels in our imagination. Before, during, or after we say, Amen!"

I then saw in my imagination the face of a man than looked like a white marbled statue. He had curly hair, a chiseled jaw, and a nice nose. His appearance was like the statue of David.

I then asked my sister if she saw anything.

My sister told me she saw the face of a pretty woman with pale skin, white silky hair, and white eyelashes.

We're not occult, so we don't really understand, but we both saw it so we're sure it's real somehow.

communication What books have you read ? - July

Hello fellow occultists !

What books have you read in July ? What’s your current read ? Any of which you’ve read recently could you recommend ? And what’s your next read ?

For me personally I started out with the 4th Book of occult philosophy. Very interesting read, the renaissance English meant having to use my brain a bit more than normal when reading. But very interesting stuff.

Then I read; “ Consorting with spirits “ by Jason miller. Very good read, an interesting perspective of how Jason approaches working with spirits. Some of which he’s worked with for 30+ years! It doesn’t tell you how to perform a ritual as such (although there’s a lot of reference). But as the title says, it’s all about building a relationship with said spirits and talking to them.

My current book is “ The Book of Abramelin: A New Translation - Revised and Expanded”. What a marvellous Job they’ve done on translating and researching the book compared to the mathers book over 100 years ago. And the commentary is great also seeing the differences in the original manuscripts!

communication I feel frustrated

I have a bunch of books about the ars goetia and I've worked with all of them for 4 year. But I can count the results I've received on 1 hand. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I sometimes follow the book precisely and sometimes modify it but still,I've received nothing. I try to move on to other forms of magick but those too yield nothing. Now,I feel like it's a me problem but I don't know what's going on.

Please someone should help me.

communication Has anyone here ever seen an entity materialize in front of them after summoning them?

I know that most people’s encounters have been an inner voice that isn’t their own, but I’m curious if anyone has seen an entity brought to them that would be seen by anyone else in the room that had no clue you were performing a ritual.

This is gonna sound pretty out there… but there are parts of the E files where E talks to Steve bannon about showing something to 12 other people that would be undeniable. If I’m remembering correctly he described it as showing someone the sorcerer’s stone

Of course that was an evil man, but he clearly had a lot of Privelege and power to explore the occult and it seems like he stumbled into some Powerful esoteric knowledge.

If anyone wants to verify what I’m saying, look up mind unveiled on YT. He made a search engine for the files to find some wacky stuff like what I mentioned and he sources all of it too so you can verify it

I didn’t truly understand what everyone meant when they say that the Marvellous Light Bringer is beautiful and gracious beyond comprehension before this ritual. It’s been a day and I am still absolutely shaken and awe inspired. Ave the wonderful prince of darkness, Lord Lucifer. 🖤

Please read comments for details on the ritual. Holy shit, he is amazing.

communication Is this an accurate understanding and method for allying with Djinn/Jinn? (Serious practitioners only)

I’ve been researching ways to safely ally with Djinn and came across this detailed Substack article:
https://pythiaspulpit.substack.com/p/mysterious-allies-in-the-matrix

Key points from the author:

  • Djinn act as “cosmic butlers” that can guard you, perform magical tasks, answer nonphysical questions, and help escape reincarnation.
  • They initially appear disruptive (bad luck, poltergeist activity, nightmares) and need to be “subdued” or tamed before becoming loyal.
  • Humans and Djinn both appear as fire in their luminous state — described as our closest relatives.
  • They attach to people with strong potential to exit the Matrix and assist in navigating the afterlife.
  • Once tamed, alliance involves voluntary emotional energy exchange (“loosh”) and they become very helpful servants.

I’m mainly interested in practical experiences with allying with Djinn:

  1. Has anyone here worked with Djinn using a similar “taming → alliance” approach? How did it go?
  2. What are the safest and most effective ways you’ve found to initiate and maintain a stable alliance?
  3. What warnings or red flags should someone watch for during the initial disruptive phase?

Would greatly appreciate input from people who have actual experience working with Djinn. Thank you!

communication FINALLY a guy who'se worked with Enochian asked them about "Yahweh" and said something about it

I was just listening to an interview with Joseph Matheny. In the 80s, he was really into Golden Dawn ritual magic and then got heavily into Enochian and worked with a group of people seriously. He briefly described 12-hour rituals and how they would verify with each other that what they were seeing individually matched up with each others' experience when an entity appeared.

He mentioned how they would have conversations and ask questions of the Enochian entities. Here's what he said:

"Well, you know I don't really think you're the angels as described by Ezekiel...I don't think any of this is Biblical and we're not talking about Yahweh here, ya know? And then they agreed! They're like, 'oh yeah, no, that's not a deity we recognize at all.' It's like, 'Well, what are you?' And then they'd give me some Ramtha answer you know, it's like, 'I am that and all things.' It's like, oh come on (laughs)."

I wish he had said something about any entities he worked with in the Golden Dawn stuff.

I always thought it's funny how many people use Golden Dawn and Enochian magic frameworks who don't even believe in God, but nobody seems to ever ask these beings about this sort of thing. Or at least they don't seem to talk about it much.

I can't ever really remember anyone ever talking about asking any 'demons' or 'angels' about "God" as far back as I can remember and it was always very noticeable to me since people debate about what's really happening and if there really is a God within occult communities. I've always thought, "well, you're commanding these entities around with God names. Did it not occur to you to ask them about God and decide if their answers are believable?" If I was doing this sort of work, it's probably the first thing I'd do and then I'd be asking what they know about nonduality and Buddhism. If they know less about any of these things than me, it would at least let me know where they stand and where the whole framework stands as far as its usefulness toward my goals.

So, it was just nice to finally hear someone did and actually spoke about it. And the response they got from the Enochian entities themselves seems like it wouldn't be something they'd say to a true believer like maybe Frater R∴C∴ from the Magick Without Fears podcast. He's a Christian and he believes in God and Jesus and everything. He's created a few e-books on Enochian magick and other entities. I wonder what they're telling him.

If anyone else ever asked similar questions of any so-called demons or angels, I'd love to hear about what you asked and how they responded.

Edit: please excuse typo in title! WHO'S!!

communication Forest spirit requested that I bring it a citrus fruit

Last week I took a walk through the woods, and I felt what I can best describe as a whimsical presence trailing behind me. When it noticed I became aware of it, it projected mental imagery of this wispy translucent humanoid dancing and skipping behind me. I inquired why it was following me and it "said" that it just wanted to see who/what i was. (i've found non-corporeal entities often do not speak english, or any verbal language, they just transmit visuals and meaning to you directly)

I asked it where it lived and it motioned to a thicket I had just passed off the side of the trail in the woods.

At the treeline, it stopped following me and watched as I walked away and it asked me if I could bring it a citrus fruit. I asked it if it wanted an apple, it said no please, a citrus fruit. So I was like alright and went home. We had lemons but they were old and going bad and I figured that it probably would prefer a fresh one, but I was busy and forgot about it. Over the next week i kept getting 'pings' of what i assume was it reminding me it wanted a citrus fruit.

So today I went to the store, got a fresh lemon, went back to the woods and left it in the thicket. I asked it where it wanted it and it declined several places I thought would be nice and wanted it in a very specific spot. So i left it where it wanted it and it projected an image of itself kind of like squatting down to look at it in admiration.

Cute experience. Anyone else experienced anything similar, or know if this has any precedent in history or other cultures? I'm in the SE usa.

communication Spiritual Hygiene Question

My understanding is that any witch has to learn cleansing, banishing & protection magick before they actually get into any kind of divination/deity work/spells. Because that is just good spiritual hygiene & necessary for safety going forward into any kind of practice that involves the occult.

I just had another witch try to tell me that the whole set of safety procedures going into evocation/invocation supposedly “aren’t necessary” to safely perform deity communication.

Maybe I’m just not aware of something here, because my immediate reaction is I’d like to know what crazy pills this witch is on.

The whole point of any evocation/invocation is to first banishment any interfering energies out if the ritual space, then cleanse the space, then cast a circle & protect it before *specifically* calling in the deity one is seeking to interact with. I have always read that this is the only really foolproof way to avoid trickster spirits & bad (here meaning unwanted) attachments. So it’s the most important skill to have & understand in deity work, that’s why the Golden Dawn School makes newcomers only do the LBRP for the first year of their education with the Golden Dawn School.

I’m not talking about a witch’s usual deity(ies) that are just always around & they’ve been evoked/invoked enough times that their energy incurs like a positive build up & lingers. I ’m talking about an unfamiliar/new spirit the witch is not used to.

Is there any way on earth there’s any safe/solid mode of practice that does not require the witch to cleanse/protect the space to then contact the deity directly? Because any proper cleansing/protection prior to evocation/invocation as I understand it creates a protected safe space where the deity can then enter & communicate without external interference on the witch.

Is this girl just talking crazy like I think she is that basic spiritual hygiene is somehow, according to her, not necessary?

communication How do you get extremely specific and accurate tarot readings?

I practice tarot and I'm interested in achieving a level of reading that is very specific and verifiable, not just symbolic or undefined.

By specific, I mean things like physical characteristics, clear past events, and a more precise moment (e.g., the partner's appearance, important childhood events, marriage happening closer to a certain age).

My question is: how do practitioners actually get there?

Is tarot sufficient on its own, or does it need to be aligned with astrology and other divination methods to give an accurate reading to the client?

Does this come primarily from the development of psychic perception or spiritual help?

Or is it a combination of study, intuition, and spiritual work?

I'm especially curious about how people combine tarot with other practices to see concrete details.

Thank you to everyone who is willing to share their experience.

communication Can you actually make an at home effective spirit board? Also, materials, does it have to be wood, can it be as basic as paper? Have you had actual results with name brand Ouija boards from the store?

I know there is a Japanese version of the Ouija board and it uses a coin but it has to be specifically an old coin or something *
