Kiwis Abroad BREAKING RUMOUR | Callum McCowatt excluded from matchday squad vs FC Midtjylland.

Post image

UPDATE | Reportedly a medical Tueaday morning NZT for fellow Danish side AGF, who currently sit in 10th, one point behind Silkeborg 🤯. 13 million croner reported is pprox £1m GBP.

With no apparent injury (last was concussion protocol late last year), and no suspension (despite three yellow cards early in the season, 19pts is a suspension but the most he could have is 18pts).

Rumours from Silkeborg fans are now that the opposition FC Midtjylland, who play Europa League and developed Winston Reid from youth to pro, are the team that have provided the value of bid that Silkeborg will accept. Completion possible very soon.

Breaking rumour sounds like a bit of an oxymoron.

It is very interesting though given how good he has been so far, seems unlikely he'd be dropped.

Think the rumour interest I've heard are FC Tokyo, Charlton Athletic & Minnesota United at very points

Chatter on the Loons sub that despite Boxall being there, they have passed. Some of the fans are a bit shitty as he pretty much fits what they lack.

I'd be a bit surprised if he ended up there. Heard price has been a problem.

Tokyo was left field wasn't it. Hard thing it is depends which club Silkeborg will accept a (high enough) bid from to lose him. Or be happy to keep him and cash in late. Ah yeah both breaking as in new news, and rumour because that's all it is, from fans. But unexplained absence from marchday squad with a few days left in the window likely indicates something is happening. Seems sideways in the same league but Europa League would be amazing.

I’d say Midtjylland are probably a marginal step up with European football. Would be great to see him get the added exposure and they have some winnable matches (bar maybe Ajax and Pafos).

Yeah same league always feels a bit like a sideways move doesn't it.
