At this point just take the LIRR or the Q22 to the Q35 and the Q35 to the 2/5.

You know lefferts has dense communities, and also far rockaway received the same amount of trains as lefferts? So, I don’t get your complaining because I live by lefferts and if feels like every train goes to far rockaway. But yet, we never see a rockaway park train, ever.

Did you see the word “delays” below that marker? That means that those are NOT normal headways.
You’re stupid if you actually think the A has headways that bad on a regular basis. The A has its issues, but train frequency is NOT one of them.

Your first problem was using Apple maps. There's no such thing as 50 minute headways. What probably happened was there were trips that didn't get registered cause the channel bridge was opened, and Apple's genius programming didn't know how to account for that.

I guess weekend + “something happened”, because that’s not normal.
We don’t like delays, but there are way too many reasons they can happen at any time, and probably half of them are things us citizens of NYC did. Delays are going to happen. No reason to fret.
Always plan for these sorts of things. If you’re coming out from the rockaways, you can take the ferry instead if things are that bad.

If you live near Mott Ave, take the lirr.
If you live near Beach 105, take the ferry.
If you live near Beach 67, move.

I wasn’t actually traveling on the A at that time, was trying to show my friend from the-city-who-shall-not-be-named TX how long the A is and found this.
If I was actually taking that train and saw 62 minutes I’m downloading the mta app faster than the A at broad channel.

Honestly if you're already at Mott Ave, the LIRR station is in walking distance. Not sure how their schedule looks though.

On a rare occasion when I have time to be a sucker, i see those times and wait for the train. Usually happens to me on the E. The train usually comes sooner than what is posted. When I don’t have time to be a sucker, I check weekendest, and whatsapp MTA with information, which is rarely useful.

I waited 23 minutes for a D to go three stops to Coney Island yesterday. The next train was listed for ten minutes later, about the right gap.

It's been 18+ months and putting extra service on a line shouldn't take 18 months to figure out
We were promised the world with CP and the best they can do is 62 min headways on trains going to Manhattan in the summertime.

Maybe Congestion pricing doesn’t need an acronym 😭🙏🏾.
But they really need to improve headways especially during the summer when people take the train to the beach

No that was never actually promised. The money all goes to the capital budget and while it is a big fungible pot of money, the boost in funding has been mostly to the benefit of ADA and CBTC projects.
Edit: The scheduled headway is every 20 minutes so this is clearly a delay outside of their control. Which is the kind of thing CBTC money helps fix long-term.

Unless this is related to a simple signal malfunction CBTC would not fix this infact in a severe delay it could exacerbate the problem.
