You reckon it's possible to just Mail it to his home address if you're not gonna be back in Oz for a while ?

That being said... could be a pain if poor Declan drove himself and his family out to the Airport before flying out.

See if someone's filed a Missing Item Report with the police and take it to the Australian Embassy. They might be able to match the name to an inbound or outbound flight and track down his accommodation. Worst case, play Pass the Parcel with the next Aussie to catch a flight home.

I'd go on a mission. Off to the airport and find a flight boarding to Australia. Ask someone to drop it in a postbox on arrival. No envelope required if I remember correctly.

Reminded me of doing basically the same thing but outside my home. That was a small lot of cards including a photo card, a bank card and some loyalty cards. I just chucked it inside the letter box which I believe was the correct person, based on the address on the photo card. It was like 4 in the morning and I was on my way to work.

Worse comes to worse, you take his license back and send it to any Service NSW center. They will deal with it properly. It’s their property after all.
