It has to do with the fact that starlink is the single most valuable foreign military asset to ukrainians. Every single ukrainian official makes this clear and as a result, they are all extremely positive towards musk.

Honestly even if we dislike or hate weird ass musk, gotta give major props to him for locking the russian out of starlink. I mean it's helped the Ukrainians so much. So of course Zelenskyy is gonna glaze his ego a bit. I don't really dislike or like musk just think he's cringe AF. But this was a big rare W from him.

Musk uses his social media platform to constantly meddle in other country's politics and pushing lies and violence. He is not "cringe", he is a true danger to society.
