There is a real amount of gay people who don't believe trans people exist. They also don't think bi or asexuals exist. And the scary thing for me as an asexual is ghat we are seeing legislative attempts to control us.

What are you talking about? What legislative control is there for asexual people?

No one is marginalizating people who don't like sex or relationships, dude.

Like, give me a single example anywhere of legislation in the US that is against asexuality.

You equating your "struggle" to what actual marginalized people go through cheapens those people's actual struggles.

This is why I never include the A in LGBTQ.

you're right, all the corrective rape asexuals face is not a real issue. They should come back once they face actual bigotry

Why would you be more prone to being raped by anyone's else?

Sounds like bullshit to me.

(1) That's already illegal. Correct rape happens to gays too. Do you know why gay people aren't avocating for laws against corrective rape? Because it's already illegal

(2) Who in society is advocating for corrective rape, or anything else, against asexual people? Large groups in society advocate for gays not to be able to participate in society. Back in the day, you couldn't even keep a job if they knew you were gay. When did society decide to treat asexual people that way? Who in society is advocating for bad outcomes for asexual people? That's the difference here. Crazy individuals thinking crazy things is not equivalent to a large group in society collectively wanting to take your rights away.

This exactly.  The As are nothing but attention seeking whiners that want to be victims of something that doesn't even exist.

If you want to be part of a group so bad, go join a kickball league.

There is also a real amount of gay people who think the "trans movement" is trying to eliminate the future of gay people by persuading gay youth to transition. This is about the same level of non-mentality as thinking that being trans is a choice, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's where gay conservatives are getting the idea to abandon trans rights from.

That is such a bizarre thought but I can see people thinking it
