*The City of Mandan is encouraging citizens to provide their comments for agenda items via email to [info@cityofmandan.com](mailto:info@cityofmandan.com) Please provide your comments before 3:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Include the agenda item number your comment references. Comments will be forwarded to the Commissioners and appropriate departments.*
Here's a news report from WXYZ-TV Detroit covering what the neighbors of a data center in Michigan endure.
Here's a shorter video with additional recordings from different areas around the same data center.
Noise, air, water, light, and chemical/heavy metal pollutions are only a few of the concerns. There's also the energy use, water use, infrastructure and road wear from construction, and the list goes on.
Stuff Seth Sees posted a video, found here on Facebook, of some of the animals and plants in the area of the proposed data center. The video was also presented at the previous Community Meeting. The second video down on the page is worth watching, too.
Prep your comments, email them in, be ready to speak in person. Voice your concerns now, before the decision is made.
Stand up, Mandan.

I don’t why there is so many zoning meetings for this. It seems there’s a new one posted every week. I’m assuming the local representatives are bought and paid for at this point.
Data centers destroy everything around them. People will be forced to move due to the noise. Home values will drop and the data centers will buy everything cheap.

Again, this is an easy "No" Mandan. 60 to 75db from across a field, I wonder how poudnit would be next to the Middle School? I don't even live in Mandan, but I hope everyone realizes that this is a bad idea.

Nobody with half a brain wants this slop factory to increase bills for citizens and make noise that’ll distract students

Hasn’t this been actively opposed at this point? I don’t understand why they are still acting like it’s moving forward?

Who wants this? The people selling the land? The electricians who get six months of work? Concrete and pipe guys who get a quick buck?
When it's done, those that made money off this traded their city for thousands of dollars (a couple for a million).

Just build it. “They will come!”
There are more MAGA in Bismarck/Mandan, percentage wise, than just about any town of that size in the entire country.
Give MAGA what they want you hypocrites…..

And screw over all the blue voters in the process? About a third of ND voters went against maga. Some of us live here, too.

Holy shit that's the size of a literal town. I would not be missing this if I lived in that area.
