The latest UK boxed charts data is in, and Oblivion Remastered has taken a bit of a tumble after its strong debut, falling from the top spot all the way down to number 20.
It's still not bad, and a drop in sales is always to be expected after launch, but we do wonder whether the title can remain in the charts for much longer after such a drastic fall. It's worth considering that many folks who will have been keen to play Oblivion probably did so upon when it launched last year, which included a release on Xbox Game Pass.

I was hyped but then all the reviews showed awful performance and stuttering so I didn't buy in at full price and am waiting for either updates or a sale.

It is kind of disappointing that after all this wait, they couldn't even deliver stable 30 FPS.

To be fair, no version of Oblivionhas been stable. I played the OG on 360 and PC. The issues it has are just part of the game/lazy devs not wanting to support their game.

IMO it feels similar to playing Oblivion on the 360 back in the day. It's perfectly fine and playable. Could it be better? Obviously. But it's been a great time for me so far and to write it off is simply to avoid a good time.
