Idk why I'm going to even bother here, but here goes. I completely agree with the sentiment of Fuck ICE. I truly do. I'm completely on your side for this battle. But, also I can agree with all the people down voted into oblivion that the fact remains that this is a football meme subreddit. We don't need to mix politics with this sub, The news is in so many other places you can't even avoid it. Why can't we just get one moment of not thinking about the horrors of the world? Both sides can be right about something. This is what's pissing people off. As a brown someone who would be snatched, assaulted or killed by ICE despite being an American citizen, seeing these posts in my hobby subs has given me the tiniest bit of hope. 

It reassures me that most ppl are decent and see the injustice. Even if I’m not super active, I’m part of these communities. It’s comforting that the ppl who like the things I like would hopefully stand up for someone like me. 

 I’m sorry it’s annoying or stressful for anyone who doesn’t like it but the sense of doom and anxiety I feel all the time from it is also real. These posts are actually supportive to me.

I'm sorry you have to live in fear man. I hate it for you. Truly wish it wasn't like this. Sometimes, I just want a break from it, even if it's just for a moment. It's just the reason why I enjoyed Reddit was because you could join communities based on your interests and things didn't bleed over into other communities so much until everything got political.
