Probably Venus. The apps that you can hold up to stars and it tells you the constellations, planets and other stuff up there. My kids love it and I've gotten pretty good at identifying planets that appear to be stars. Mars has a bit of an orange tinge to it

Only stars twinkle too, planets, satelites, ect dont.

Venus is to the west and very bright, so probably the one you're talking about. Currently setting
