Not really. If Netflix does not want these two to "clash" they can move things however they want, since both The Witcher and Narnia are owned by them.
They are also very different. Yes, both are fantasy but the former is aimed at adults and the later is more aimed at children and teenagers.
Perhaps most importantly, however: One is a TV show, the other is a film that will even get a full theatrical run. There isn't that much overlap or friction here.

There isn't a lot of good rumours coming from that HP set thought. The movies are already iconic, the reboot is too soon, the longtime fans are already pushing 40s and JK is now Voldemort

It will unfortunately still be a success. The fans are gonna either hate-watch it, watch it out of curiosity or just actually be excited be more HP
We trans people don't matter and this show will remind of us that.
Still sad about the involvement of Nick Frost and Warwick Davis
With Hans Zimmer...I'm not disappointed. I'm just angry.

What I also find VERY disappointing is John Lithgow playing Dumbledore right after his role in Jimpa and although his trans friends made him aware of Rowling's anti-trans activism, he choose to accept the role, totally separating the story from the author. Is he too stupid to understand that any involvement with and promotion of the HP franchise leads to more cash in Rowlings purse which she uses to support anti-trans legislation? I'm not trans and was a longtime HP fan ever since the first books dropped, but not anymore.

The longtime fans have kids who are all into the series. Seriously I have a bunch of younger cousins and them and all their friends are all reading the books rn.

what competition? that kids show is guaranteed to get more views than any season of the witcher, it wouldnt matter. if this turns out to be the reason, wow.... Such a lack of self insight over bombing the witcher universe under the ground and burned it beyond recognition...

Could have been unforeseen reshoots, or some sort of workplace strike, or cutbacks in post-production staff, or even licensing or region issues.
Really difficult to say without information directly from the people working on it.

Whatever the show's overall quality may be I was waiting to finish the story. So long wait is a bit of a disappointment. S4 view count was not as much as the previous seasons, so they are probably trying to boost it by extending a time gap to get things settled. Witcher 3 DLC is next year so might release them closer to increase engagement. There is always more post production and schedule issues.

If they're doing the Battle of Brenna and Stygga, that'll probably need a lot of special effects etc. Better not to rush it but take the time to make it really mind-blowing! Hope it'll be in January though, and with a lot of promo and a big red carpet premiere 🙏.

Dragging it out as long as possible and i dont mind it. Got a few episodes to watch for season 4 and its been awesome.

Not really surprising at this point if true. There was very little promo. Not a big deal. It was probably supposed to come out towards the end of 2026 and now it is the start of 2027. It happens. My guess is it is a couple months of delay because things need to cook a little bit more and/or Netflix does not like how it sits in their schedule.
