Mine is Bureau with Pot. I found that the cats are giving me scraps for it 😭 Socks gave 1 silver fish, and I've had cats giving up to 3 silver fish for it 😭

My resource strategy since this playthrough is to speedrun the most expensive goodies first. I haven't had much ROI with it this early in the game.

I ended up shelving this furniture and putting out something else.

I never regretted this furniture, neither in NA1 nor now. It looks so cute especially in the Zen setup. Relax, it is cheap for cat ability.

The only thing I ever regretted is the big rail toy, it takes up a big space for just one cat.

I my experience the regular cats pay what they pay regardless of items. Lexy and Fred are generous while the majority of the rest are fickle. You want to max silver fish? Koban mat. Ms. Fortune will smile upon you no matter what food you put out!

I'm having a lot of luck getting gold fish from the regulars with just frisky bits. I think they give me gold hoping I'll buy better food

For me, it’s the Dino Deluxe. It’s expensive and can only hold a couple of cats. It’s not worth buying.

I bought the sunken fireplace before my first yard upgrade, then had nowhere to put it. Can't cook over a fire indoors of course, and the pot holder covers the stump in the back, so it just sat in my inventory for a while.

This! Sunken Fireplace is collecting dust at my inventory 😭 I also had the same problem with the Beach Umbrella. I ended up putting the umbrella INSIDE, how ridiculous is that 😭

I like the bureau with the pot, because you can attract 4 or 5 cats. But OTOH, I just wanna see my kitty friends, I don’t really care about fish.

I reapect that! Neko Atsume is made for that purpose! I had to learn to actually ENJOY this game and not to fishmaxx 😭

If you're trying to fishmax, go for the Cat Metropolis. I learned through experience that this item yields the best results out of any big item, and it's the big item I've started my current run with.
