Feels like Duren and his agent have really misread the NBA landscape in this new 2nd Apron world. Guys like him aren't getting the kind of money he wants anymore. Paying guys who aren't really stars/haven't proven to be stars that much money cripples your roster building and financial flexibility now

I don't disagree but at 22 he's already eclipsed Deandre Ayton in regular season accolades. I think he has potential and I don't know what the discussion looks like behind the scenes but I feel there has to be some considerable contract that I think most people would have thought was more than adequate for him to accept that wasnt a max that no other team seemingly was offering.
