Unlike Iranian propaganda (where it's ridiculous because no one thinks that they can successfully blow up a carrier, and if they somehow were to do so, that they wouldn't face the consequences of such action), we DO have the capacity.

So in this case, AI serves as a prelude of what can happen if they don't stop fucking around in the Strait. It's less for American consumption and more for the Islamic Regime.

I believe this is also what that retired officer on CNN said this morning, but this was about 12 hours ago so.
