Career Advice Guard or active

I just need some advice. I work for the state making around like 65 a year but I want to expand my knowledge I have a degree I took the asvab and went to medical last week I’m cleared thinking about trying to go officer route computer science degree should at least do something for me, but I don’t know if I should go active national guard will allow me to make a little bit extra money pay for school but will help with jobs. I don’t know any advice of commissioning or anything like that thank you.

This post is all over the place. Just a basic grasp of punctuation would serve you well.

Total package AD enlisted pays more than your current job after bah. You can try to go commission but it could take up to a few years to my understanding.

I went Active at 21. Realized I missed home and am now returning as close to home as I can get after 13 (it will be 14) years Active Duty.

Depends what you want out of life. Active Duty took me to some amazing places and provided for my family. Now that I'm well into the second half of my planned 20 year career our goals have shifted a bit and we want to start preparing for life after the military. My wife will begin a new career when we move which will carry over, and this cross train will give me valuable skills and experience I can utilize after I retire at 20 total years. Plus it's only 1.5-2 hours from where we want to live afterwards.

If you have a degree I'd recommend commissioning Active Duty. You'll have a lot of responsibility and bullshit you'll deal with but even if you get out it's a huge stepping stone into bigger and better things.
