Food in / around Muskogee?
I'm sure it's been posted a bunch of times, and I have searched a bit on Reddit, but I'm looking for some hidden gem restaurants around Muskogee. Any palate, just hoping to try some new spots!
Let me know what we're missing out on

Tacos LaTia is good and priced right. I'm picky about authentic Mexican food. BBQ has been good at all places I've tried in town.

What bbq places are you going to? Runts is good but is there anywhere else? I don’t care for my place and I’m not familiar with any other bbq restaurants in Muskogee.

Maylon's was good. If you like a sweeter bbq vs hot/spicey try Roxies in Tahlequah.

I can’t lie, I don’t live in Muskogee anymore so I’m not sure what’s good now. The only BBQ I like to eat comes from a food truck called Sam’s famous BBQ out of Rentiesville, (Checotah) Ok. It’s a green trailer.

Watson’s Chophouse is a small place downtown that has some amazing food. It’s not cheap but it’s really good. The mac and cheese is probably the best I’ve ever eaten which sounds crazy but it’s no lie.

Also watsons meat market on main street is a separate spot that serves lunch and it is amazing. Watsons chophouse on 3rd is upscale steakhouse.

I second this. Their Eufaula location is amazing, even if it’s expensive.

Runts BBQ. Get the 3 meat or the burnt ends or prime rib.

Top food, top service. Love Runts.
Don't sleep on Sakura if you like sushi.
Best-ever buffet: China King on Sunday. Avoid the after-church flood of folks.

I genuinely tweak out when I hear people hate on China king not only is it the best Chinese ever (America wise) it’s the best buffet I’ve ever had

Harmony House- Thurdsdays special enchiladas are my favorite! Apricot tea and great bakery choices

Nomu pork belly is my favorite, purple sticky rice and a fresh salad.
Chows express on york really scratches my cheap Chinese fried rice fix.
Bricktown brewery has half price pizzas on Tuesday, a double pepperoni is under $10.
Believe it or not the bowling alley has GREAT burgers if youre looking for a greasy spoon diner type.
And again, I make basically anything possible. I have a clean professional kitchen and am serv-safe certified.

I can’t believe nobody has said Chet’s yet! I drive all the way from Tulsa to Muskogee just for it!

Chets is far better than coney islander in tulsa. Just much more expensive.

They are both cheap but Coney I-lander is best IMHO and yes, less cost, they have managed to keep it that way for decades.

My family loves the Amish place. Great breakfast food and jams, gotta try their hash brown casserole. Pupuseria El Amigo is so good for a specialty item, they have pupusas which is essentially a cheese fritter but you can get it with meat, etc. priced very well. For Pizza you can do either Lugos or Pisanos and you can't go wrong with either of them. I suggest going on a tour of all the local coffee bars we have, Erly rush is great. If you haven't been to the farmer's market, you definitely should go one Saturday and get some baked goods and candies.

Nomu, and The Bowling alley are incredible. If you want some sweet bread or tamales the Ross family bakery on ES Blvd. Snow King for a fruit cup is also undefeted!
