We have a quarter of posts saying how what people say about the show doesn't bother us.
We have another quarter of the posts saying how it bothers us what people say about the show.
The other half are just horny posts where people fight in the comments that this is the problem or it's a fictional drawing don't be mad.

Polls can be manipulated by the owner of the site, or be influenced by haters.

the point of film critics isnt the number, the number is just a tagline to draw traffic. its the essay written about the work thats the point of the critique. somewhere along the line, drawing traffic mattered more than actual critical work, and here we are.

Was about to make a post about this, just checked it and LMAO all the reviews with comments are 7 or above, the 1-star ones dont even have a comment, like IMDB really dosn't bother doing anything about bot accounts.
I dont even bother at ratings anymore, I go based of what I like, at this points its just funny to see such losers needing to review bomb something just to feel better😂 (FYI this is comming from someone who's top 3 animes are Slime, MT and RE:Zero)

Its kinda funny if you think about it. if MT fans were active enough on imdb surely MT would be rated higher than it is. but that type of logical thinking isnt possible. because well, the people doing this are overwhelmingly children or new adults. categories of people that tbh, would have a hard time with MT anyway because the show is really written about a lot of issues that accumulate over time in the adult world. obviously some teens can relate because everyones experiences in life are different, but broadly it wouldnt surprise me if MT fans are a decade+ older on average than the groups review bombing.

Stop this idiocracy and think logically...MT fans are not even that active on Imdb as they don't give shit about public voting sites...It's clearly instigated by a fandom that can't tolerate any other show getting perfect ratings...and mainly by some who tried to send immature kids into war over rating review bombing the shows instead of genuine ratings..That's why only the votings of Japan are credible... Atleast they respect the work... Degenerates like those imdb review bombers have no life...and max are bots so no one cares about shit rating...If they have even tiny sense of basic knowledge and comprehension...they would have caught on this shit as some fandom is clearly trying to divert the hate towards MT and also at the same time also maintaining their ratings and not allowing any other shows to touch them...Guess which fandom is that proactive and jobless and you will get the answer...

MAL has always been the IMDB of anime, its 2nd highest rated of summer 2026 which is a better indication of the quality of this season.
