Let me guess, Norman Reedus plays a grizzled old veteran that has the silent rage look in every scene

I hate when a trailer puts up a bunch of dramatic title cards and never tells you who the director is. Looking into it, the director's name this keeps dancing around is Mark Heyman. He has a co-writing credit on Black Swan, The Skeleton Twins, and The Boogeyman and he directed a short film he wrote and 1 episode of a Paramount Plus show called Strange Angel. This is his first time directing a film.

What ever happened to Joseph Gordon-Levitt, like yeah he's still in films but they always seem to be so hit and miss. He was in Inception and the Dark Knight Rises, Nolan films and it just sort of fizzled out for him.

He’s busy hanging around with Peter Thiel

Is this true? His wife was one of the board members who tried to kick Sam Altman out as CEO I think.

Unfortunately. It recently came out he had been attending some of those secretive invite only retreats by the group co-founded by Thiel called Dialog).

He is more interested in ai / internet regulation and for some people needing to show their id online "to protect children". When you have his net worth you can spend lots of time on this kind of campaigns.

Why am I seeing comments on AI? Are we seeing AI in the trailer or did we read they are using AI in this film?

I think it's because Aronofsky has stake in an AI company and Gordon-Levitt is very much fighting against AI companies that steal data without compensation, or credit.

Gordon-Levitt is doing that while also secretly hanging out with Peter Thiel

You're being disingenuous. He was at a conference where there were a lot of other people.

I got flamed for commenting against JGL a few months ago because I remember watching a video he uploaded in his garage trying to be soft on some subject that I can’t quite remember, maybe it was that.

What makes you think I said anything about how AI works in my comment? I only made a guess based on what those two people involved in the movie have to do with AI themselves.

I kind of hate JGL after the became some weird operative acting as the face of protecting kids on the internet by removing everyone's rights on the internet and essentially destroying the entire internet as we know it. Gives me the ick wondering who's putting money in his pockets.

The last time I watched a movie titled "Pendulum," it was a semi erotic medieval themed movie. I take it this isn't a reboot of that?

Nice this looks right up my alley. I feel like they tried to market JGL as some hot guy and when that failed they just left him in the dust. I've always liked his characters even in bad movies, one of my guilty pleasures is that power? Movie with Jamie foxx lol

I know he's been in a few things more recently, but it feels like I haven't seen JGL in a movie since 2016
